From TruthAboutIraq
|
| When it comes to the war in Iraq, opinions run wide and deep. So it's understandable that disagreements might become intense between those supporting different positions on the various issues.
But disagreements have long since become overheated arguments. We have progressed to the point now that the very immutability of fact has become elusive. As the old saying goes, the truth has become the first casualty of war.
TruthAboutIraq.org was founded to clarify what has become uncertain, correct what is now distorted, and most of all, to counter both intentional lies and incidental falsehoods with the truth.

| TruthAboutIraq is a "wiki", a website run on the same software that powers the world-famous Wikipedia. Anyone who creates an account can log in and edit the articles, and we invite all visitors to do just that.
Though the organizers of the project support the Coalition's mission in Iraq, we invite honest skeptics looking for the truth to participate as well. This Editorial Conscience was explained in more detail by board member Kristian W. Holvoet.
