A manual of style is frequently used by organizations involved in group writing, to maintain community standards, avoid contrasting writing styles, and when necessary engender a common voice for all writing within the organization.

The Truth About Iraq wiki has decided not to set out a formal Manual of Style at this time. Please observe proper grammar and discuss any disagreement about the wording of an article on the appropriate Talk page. If we change our position, the Manual of Style will eventually be described here.
